Sueño Sales Visits San Antonio

Robert and I visited San Antonio two weeks ago where we had the opportunity to showcase Sueño del Mar. Ana Mainini gave us an introduction to Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty in San Antonio. We made presentations to the agents and their clients offering them to come experience your Caribbean home.

Sueño owners Mike and Ana Mainini, Robert and Nancy Arias, Alan Hertz, and OC and Johanna Haley attended the evening event. We had a great time answering questions and sharing details about Sueño . We are already seeing the success from this trip. Thank you Ana, Mike, Robert, Nancy, Alan, Johanna and OC for all your support.

You wont see this on Ambergris Caye.

Sueno Untouched by Earthquake

Last night's earthquake was went unnoticed by most of us here at Sueno, thank goodness. But our hearts go out to the people of southern Belize, Honduras, and other parts of Central America who were affected by it.

Sueno from Above

Click on the image to enlarge.

Thank you John Turley (member) for some great new aerial shots of Sueno.

Got DVD's?

Our DVD collection is getting smaller and smaller all the time, so we've moved it back to the Member Services Desk where DVD's can be checked out and tracked.

If you have any of Sueno's DVD's please see that they get back to the desk. Any DVD's that you would like to donate to Sueno at the end of your stay would be more than welcome as well.

Try Guatemala

Jessica and I spent the week in Antigua and Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Antigua is a charming colonial style town with cobblestone street, dozens of Cathedrals, and the ruins of countless monasteries that were destroyed in an earthquake.
Lake Atitlan is one of the most spectacular places I have ever visited. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by foliage covered mountains, three volcanoes, and a dozen cozy villages. Either of these would make a great weekend getaway for those staying at Sueno for months at a time.

Lamanai - Mayan Ruins

Lamanai is located on mainland Belize.

If you haven't already done so, book a day trip from Sueno del Mar to Lamanai next time you are here. Photos from Mark & Terry Brady.

Feathered Friends

Meet the newest tenants of 4C.
Members, Mick & Jenny Daly took this picture of the new born birds in the flower pot hanging outside the door to their villa.

Our Tiger Heron is still hanging around. I heard that someone had named him Andre. He likes to chill under the dock, on the ramp near the hobie cats and on the hobie cats themselves. He's been here since about October. Photos by Wendy Hood.

We had a pair of red-headed woodpeckers that spent a day at Sueno this week.
