First time coming to Sueno del Mar?

Here's what to expect as you travel to Sueno. I always tell people that your vacation begins once you reach Belize City. You have nothing to worry about from there on out. In fact, when planning a trip to Sueno all you have to do is book your flights to Belize City International Airport (BZE). We will book your flights to the Island and charge them to your Sueno account prior to your arrival. For assistance booking Tropic flights contact memberservices@dreambelize.com

In Belize City you'll check you can check your luggage and rest easy because you won't have to touch it again until you are in your room at Sueno, as we have transportation arrangements prepared in advance. You'll board a small 5-12 passenger plane on Tropic Air. This is where you need to kick things into island mode and kind of go with the flow. This airline is so laid back that if you miss your flight they just put you on the next one. If you arrive early they put you on an ealier flight. If the flight is overbooked they will send two planes. If the plane is overweight they'll send your luggage on another flight. Everyone and everything always makes it safely to the island but rarely on the scheduled flight or at the scheduled time.

The 20 minute flight is beautiful. On a clear day you can see the manitees, rays, and sharks swimming below you in the clear green water.
Once at the San Pedro air strip you'll be greeted by a Sueno shuttle driver such as Walter. Walter will collect your luggage for you and take you the 6 blocks through San Pedro to Fido's Dock.

At the dock office Hobie willl help you with your luggage.

One of our boat captains, either Chris or Antonio, will help you into one of Sueno's 3 boats, Sea Dream, Three Weeks, or The Big Boat.
The 14 mile, 35 minute boat ride to Sueno is breath taking, with palm trees and pristine beaches on one side and turquise waters and waves crashing at the reef on the other.

As the boat pulls up to the Sueno's 300 foot dock you are greeted by a smiling staff member, usually Elder or Imelda, sometime me, with a rum punch in hand.

Don't worry about your luggage. We'll have it delivered to your villa on the golf cart. Like I said, once you check your luggage in Belize City you can forget all about it.
